Hartlepool

Hartlepool is a port town and Borough of Hartlepool administrative centre in County Durham, England. It lies on the North Sea coast. The town is 8 miles (13 km) north of Middlesbrough and 20 miles (32 km) south of Sunderland. It is governed by Hartlepool Borough Council, a unitary authority which also administrates outlying villages of Seaton Carew, Greatham, Hart Village, Dalton Piercy and Elwick.
